Where our guidance comes from

Our CVs and cover letters are original fictional examples. The layouts, editable files and text checks are our own. Careers guidance comes from the primary publishers below. An example shows how to present evidence; it does not establish that you have that experience.

“Updated” is the date we last reviewed the guidance we use. Follow the publisher’s current instructions when applying, especially for right-to-work proof. The numbers shown for document size and pages describe our own downloadable files; your edits may change the layout.
