Profile

Junior graphic designer with a year in a small studio and a strong portfolio of print, social and packaging work. Turns a brief into two or three clear routes, presents them simply and prepares files that print right first time. Looking for a junior or middleweight role in a studio or in-house team.

Experience

Junior Graphic Designer Seaglass Studio, Brighton · August 2025–present

Design social, print and event material for eight regular clients, from first sketches to print-ready files.

Created the packaging range for a local coffee roaster's six blends, now stocked in 30 shops.

Prepare artwork for print and check proofs with suppliers, so no job has gone back for a reprint.

Design Intern Brighton Fringe Collective · June–August 2025

Produced 40 event posters and social tiles to a shared template during the festival.

Updated the brand guidelines with the lead designer so volunteers could make their own posts.

Barista (part time) Lanes Coffee House, Brighton · 2022–2025

Worked weekend and summer shifts while studying; trained four new staff on the till and drinks menu.

Selected projects

Coffee roaster packaging: six bags, labels and a shelf display (portfolio, page 2).

Festival poster series: one template, 40 events, three print sizes (portfolio, page 4).

Before you use it

A coloured header suits design, marketing, events and hospitality. Law firms, banks and many public sector employers expect a quieter page, so choose Classic or Professional for those, and use Plain for online portals.

How to use this template

01

Let the portfolio do the showing

Put your portfolio link in the header and point to the pages that prove each claim. The CV says what you did; the portfolio shows how it looked.

02

Keep the body calm

One colour in the header is enough personality. A plain body is quicker to read and prints well, which matters when a studio prints shortlisted CVs.

03

Count the work

Numbers such as 40 posters or 30 shops tell an employer the scale of your work in a way that adjectives cannot.

04

Keep part-time jobs short

A barista job still shows reliability and training others. One line is enough when it is not the job you are applying for.

If the employer asks for a particular file type, a page limit or an application form, do what they ask, even where this page suggests otherwise. CV format and file types explains the choices.
