How to use this template

01

Shrink older jobs to one line

Jobs from more than ten years ago, or below your current level, need a title, an employer and dates, not bullets. That keeps the page for what you do now.

02

Put dates on the right

Right-aligned dates let a recruiter check your history at a glance while reading the job titles first.

03

Use numbers employers use

Picking accuracy, trailers a night and days without an injury are figures a warehouse manager knows. They make your bullets comparable.

04

List licences early

Driving and truck licences decide whether you can be put on the rota. A line in the header or the profile answers that before it is asked.

If the employer asks for a particular file type, a page limit or an application form, do what they ask, even where this page suggests otherwise. CV format and file types explains the choices.
