How to write yours

01

Use your site's numbers

Picks an hour and accuracy rates are how warehouses measure work. Use your real figures and say over what period.

02

List licences with years

Forklift, reach truck and other licences decide which jobs you can do on day one. Put them in the header or a section of their own.

03

Group agency work

Several short agency placements can share one entry with the sites and dates, so the CV stays readable.

04

Give your shift pattern

Days, nights, weekends and peak overtime decide rotas. Say which you can work.

Checks and qualifications to mention

  • Qualifications. You might not need any, but some employers want GCSEs at grade 4 (C) in English and maths, or equivalent (National Careers Service). Qualifications from another country can be named with the equivalent level if you know it.
  • Forklift training. The National Careers Service says employers often put you through forklift training after your probation. If you already hold a licence, give the type and year.
  • Right to work. Every employer checks it before your first shift; see the right to work guide.

One page. Older agency work can share a single line, so your current site, accuracy and licences stay near the top.
